As a former commercial pilot I thought this might be an interesting read. While airlines have turned to junk and pilots have become button pushers wearing funny hats, this book was so far from reality that the only reason I finished it was to see how the author was going to save his characters. This was a great vacation read, that was fun and hard to put down. David did a great job of putting the characters together and holding the readers attention. A must read for aviation and adventure enthusiast.

Just finished The Perfect Pilot. Great book. Dace Diamond is anything but perfect, but he sure knows how to survive. Dave Carlisle has put together an intricately woven, fast-moving, blood and guts story that will keep you reading from page 1 to the end. Can't wait for the next book in the series.
